PSL Recognized as one of IAOP’s Best of the GO100: Interview with Alejandro Vasquez

Last week, PSL announced its place on IAOP®'s The Best of GO100 list, making it the second year in a row PSL has received recognition from the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals. Since then, we've had some time to reflect on how we got there and plans for the future.

PSL is a nearshore software development company with over 30 years of experience and a long history of chasing after and achieving big dreams. In 2002 and 2003 we were the first Latin American company to achieve both CMM and CMMI level 5 certification, and in 2006 were awarded the IEEE Computer Society/Software Engineering Institute Watts S. Humphrey Software Process Achievement Award, placing us alongside other celebrated recipients such as NASA Software Engineering Laboratory, Raytheon Electronic Systems and others. Most recently, PSL was included in the IAOP®'s Best of GO100 list, a special selection made from the complete list of companies to have received this distinction throughout the past 10 years.

Even with all of these recognitions, PSL moves forward with passion and humility, placing its focus on contributing to the growth of our communities, our clients, and our employees. PSL employees wake up every morning excited to take on new challenges, seize new opportunities, and keep learning and growing. By leveraging technology as a powerful force for transformation, we want to contribute to making the world a better place.

We caught up with Alejandro Vasquez, VP of Business Development and resident nearshore outsourcing expert at PSL, to discuss PSL's recent IAOP® recognition, its key drivers and how the organization sees itself moving into the future.
