Company: In alliance with Sun Microsystems (now Oracle), PSL designed and developed a robust proxy solution for America Movil, the fourth largest mobile operator in the world.

Service provided: PSL developed a robust proxy solution for two America Movil subsidiaries that handles the pre-paid subscriptions to its more than 20 million subscribers. The proxy interacts with the operator’s core system and incorporates flexible business logic that allows for constant innovation in service and plan offerings. PSL’s proxy handles more than 1,000 transactions per second in peak day times.

Company: With funding from the US Treasury Department and in alliance with IBM Latin America (NYSE:IBM), PSL designed and developed an anti-money laundering application for the government of Colombia.

Service provided: Utilizing a sophisticated web-services brain, the application interconnects the IT systems of more than 18 different government institutions,  cross-referencing important information that might lead to the detection of money laundering or other forms of financial fraud.  Deployed in record time, the system constitutes one of the country's strongholds in the fight against financial crime.

Company: ACP, or the Panama Canal Authority, is a multi-billion dollar agency that operates and manages one of the seven engineering wonders of the 20th century, the Panama Canal.

Service provided: PSL developed and deployed a high-availability, web-based core system that runs the different services   rendered to the tens of thousands of ships that cross the isthmus. The application consolidated what before were multiple systems, increasing the productivity of the canal's operation by improving the speed with which it serves each ship, bills for the services and collects from clients.

Company: Seon Design is the world's #1 manufacturer of technology-based surveillance systems for the bus and coach industry. It develops solutions for mass transit, rail, school bus, and law enforcement fleets.

Service provided: PSL developed Seon's web based core software that allows real time tracking of vehicle fleets.  The fully SaaS platform provides real-time information on position, speed, vehicle status, g-force measurements and other variables critical for managing large fleets safely and efficiently.

Company: Our client, HSBC, has often been named the largest financial institution in the world, with a marked presence in Latin America's largest economies.

Service provided: PSL developed a robust internet banking platform for the financial giant, with an emphasis on serving corporate clients with complex needs. This is one of many implementation performed by our company in the field of web-based financial applications, in which we have a deep expertise, having constructed solutions that handle more than 150,000 concurrent clients and in peak times serve 1 million plus transactions per hour.

Company: A Fortune 500 corporation with over US $ 20 billion in revenue and more than 30,000 employees, Ecopetrol is one of Latin America's largest oil and gas conglomerates.

Service provided: PSL is currently one of two companies running Ecopetrol's Software Development factory.  At any one point in time, our teams tackle over 30 project initiatives, fundamentally in the .Net platform.  Projects range from complex deployment of oil transportation applications, to providing maintenance and enhancements to existing IT assets in Ecopetrol's corporate headquarters.

Company: With over 55,000 customers in 32 countries, Numara is a Tampa-based software company providing IT Infrastructure Management solutions that have won a coveted spot in Gartner's Magic Quadrant.

Service provided: PSL currently deploys a team of 35+ persons to help design and develop the newest version of Numara's core application.  Working under agile SCRUM, the team interacts with technical staff in Tampa and Western Europe in this complex and exciting undertaking.  To date, the project is running on time and thanks to the structure imprinted on the teams, communications flow properly despite the complexity of managing three time-zones.

Company: Avon, the world's largest direct seller, is a leading beauty company with over 10 billion in revenue.  For over 20 years, Avon has operated business units --directly or through representatives--in Latin America.

Service provided: PSL developed and deployed a turn-key core business platform for Avon's leading franchisee in the region.  The solution operated the totality of the business core of direct sales, managing over 200,000 sales representatives from order to dispatch.  With over 900,000 Lines of Code, this critical development project was deployed in record time, exhibiting less than 0.25 errors per 1,000 LOC.

Company: Based in Texas, Data Paradigm is a business process software consulting firm specializing in the development of applications to manage large sales networks in verticals such as telecom, energy, and direct sales.

Service provided: PSL currently deploys three separate development cells for the client: one working in mobile applications, the other two in .Net web developments.  Each cell is working under the supervision of client project managers based in the US, utilizing agile tools to coordinate work.  Communication occurs constantly via Skype and the team is kept up-to date through shared repositories.  Leveraging PSL's ability to quickly scale teams, the system is simple, nimble and highly cost-efficient for the client.

Company: With over 400 distributors and more than 1,000 service shops, Kawasaki Colombia, is Latin America's second largest light-vehicle assembler.

Service provided: PSL has developed several critical applications for the industrial conglomerate, including customized CRM systems for its dealer network, a robust SaaS after-sales application servicing over one million vehicles, and a supply&distribution chain automation system to replenish network inventories.  Since the implementation of the system, our client has increased customer service satisfaction by 30% and cut the speed of the delivery of its product to dealers by almost  50%.

Company: With over 13 million customers and 189 branch offices, BMO (Bank of Montreal) is one of the largest financial institutions in Canada.

Service provided: BMO employs more than 500 in-house engineers.  Desiring to improve its software development process, BMO hired PSL as a consultant in CMMi 5 best-practices for the bank.  Our services were deployed in Canada at the client's site.
